Oftentimes, we are called upon to rescue an animal in urgent medical need but can not due to lack of funding. Our goal is to raise $5,000 by June 30, 2013 so that we won’t have to turn an injured animal away. Charity Dog Wash and Cat Nail Clip June 9, 2013

Our next charity dog wash and cat nail clip is Sunday, June 9th, 2013 at Pet Supplies Plus 2329 Cheshire Bridge Road Atlanta 30324 from noon to 5 pm. Our wonderful volunteers wash and dry your dog and trim your cat’s nails while you shop. Come on out and support our rescue efforts. Suggested donation is $10.

We are in great need of dog and cat food both dry and canned for our rescued pets and all the homeless animals we feed around the metro Atlanta area. We also need cat litter. DENTAL SURGERY CAMPAIGN MET!

Yes, we did it! We met our goal of raising $800 for our feline dental surgery campaign through socialnetworkgiving.com. Our first cat, Elmo, goes in for his dental treatment on April 1st, 2013. Thank you to all our donors who made this happen.

Just $35 a month will help feed an animal as well as provide litter, monthly flea treatment, vaccines and veterinary care if needed. It’s easy to sponsor: You can donate monthly via our website through Paypal or you can send a bank drafted check to our business office located at 3814-R Stewart Road Doraville, GA 30340 (please note this is our business address and not a drop off site).

Second Life, located in the Avondale Estates neighborhood of Atlanta, is an upscale thrift store that was created with the mission of giving homeless pets a second chance at life. Second Life sells gently used clothing, home decorations and furniture. In turn, they support animal rescue charities and programs with much needed cash donations. Their goal is to offer customers a unique and fun shopping experience where every purchase benefits homeless pets.

Second Life is located at 1 N. Clarendon Avenue in Avondale Estates, GA 30002. Open Wednesday through Saturday 11-6, Sundays 12-5. Closed Mondays and Tuesdays.
